Murals at Mason commissioned School of Art alumna, Lecsi Pillar, to design a mural that highlights landmarks and experiences in Fairfax, VA. The mural is from the perspective of someone planning a trip to Fairfax City, including a bus and metro card, and polaroid photos of their adventures.

Artist Statement: “I have a map on my wall in my childhood bedroom of the United States, and every new state/city I go to, I put a pin to remember it. That coupled with all the photos I've gathered of me and my friends having fun around Fairfax, I thought of a large scale map focusing not just on the layout of the city, but the experiences the city offers too.”
