When it comes to art, I love all forms of it. I mainly pursue photography, branding, and illustrations.

I wanted to redesign 3 album covers that I think need improvement. It’s different from the original because it’s about me. I choose a hip-hop album, a country album, and a reggaeton album. These albums mean a lot because it’s a history of how my music evolved throughout the years. I choose to do album covers because I love music. Ever since I could remember, I was always singing and dancing. My vision for the design aspect is to show surrealism. I used mainly photoshop to manipulate the photos to give them a surreal look. I tried to stay away from the standard album covers that you see. In the back of the album covers, it explains more in depth about the meaning behind each concept.

The Marshall Mathers LP Around this time, I was in middle school. I was trying to find myself and who I wanted to be. Along the way, I discovered that I like doing my hair, playing with makeup, painting my nails and being obsessed with the color pink. I wanted to reflect my girly side by adding pink clouds and butterflies. I also kept some of the elements of his songs to the album cover. I included fire as a representation of the anger and violence that his songs portray.

Crash My Party The twirl effect is a representation of my experience and memories. On the bottom right is a photo of a plane. Around this time, I was flying back to Virginia from Bolivia. We don’t have beaches, so that summer I planned a trip to the beach. One of the memories was eating ice cream. I remembered vividly of how different the taste was comparing to Bolivia. On the bottom right, is a photo of a driving car. Around this time, my sister was teaching me how to drive and we used to drive for hours late at night. The crowd on the phone represents the excitement that the songs bring.

Emmanuel This album is exciting and upbeat. This is the type of genre that I’m currently listening to. Right now, I’m feeling excited to graduate. That’s why I wanted to include a graduation photo. I think more than ever, I’m just trying to have fun and enjoy my life. As I’m getting older, time has played a big part of my life. I just want to feel like I’m not wasting time and going to the right direction. The photo of the stairs represents a new chapter.
