ARTIST STATEMENT: I’m a New Media Artist with a minor in Art History. I specialize in animation, photography, and video editing. What my project is about is to try and bring that wonder and excitement of being in a video game world to the art world. I mix both animation and video editing to create a video that mixes the two very well. I use my video editing skills to make the gameplay of the games feel alive, and I use animation to fill in the gaps of what the animations in video games can’t do. The reason why is because when I’m in a video game world, I have the access of whatever I can do in that world that I can’t do in real life. I want to bring that to the art world where it can inspire an artist to brainstorm and create new things. If you like my project, come see my website.
