DESIGNER STATEMENT: One of my favorite designer is William Morris. Morris’ use of natural forms, motivated by the forests and the meadows, resonated with me. So, the book cover of my senior project was explored by the inspired organic patterns. I've tried to approach versatile and clean, structured and creative.
When I consider the role of a designer today, communication is a primary aspect that she values most. I believes that design is a very effective tool for the importance it plays in our everyday lives. My view on design matches the nature of design itself, which is functional. It is true we cannot move from one place to another at this day and age without the language of design that guides us. I dream of being in the front row in creating experiences that positively impact many people’s lives. Meanwhile, I discovered that it is Design that has the power in making such dreams come true.
