Join us for a reception and artist talk in the gallery with Atlantika Collective members Billy Friebele, Yam Chew Oh, and Sue Wrbican. They will discuss collaboration, their respective approaches to making works that deal with current events and topical issues, and will provide an overview and background for the other artist projects on view.

The event is open to the public and designed to be informal and welcoming to all. Come as you are! Refreshments will be provided.

About the Exhibit:
Approaching Event Horizons: Projects on Climate Change by Atlantika Collective at GMU Buchanan Hall Atrium Gallery features photography video and sculptural works which raise awareness about the consequences of the environmental crisis. Included in the exhibit are works by Gabriela Bulisova, Todd R. Forsgren, Billy Friebele, Mark Isaac, Katie Kehoe, Yam Chew Oh, and Sue Wrbican.
