Mason Exhibitions Artist in Residence and Arabic Calligrapher, Abdulrahman (Abi) Naanseh, will be joined by Chinese Calligrapher, Amy Quach, and Graffiti Typographer, Corey Posner, for a calligraphy exchange event.

All three artists practice their own unique forms of calligraphy and will have the opportunity to swap tools and surfaces to explore each other's calligraphic media. The artists will also discuss their personal backgrounds and artistic inspirations.

The works produced at this event will remain on view at Mason Exhibitions Arlington until August 22, and then be transferred to Gillespie Gallery of the Art and Design Building with the rest of Abi Naanseh's artworks.

RSVP encouraged, but not required to attend. Masks are encouraged.
