Performance Action and Tree Planting
As part of Atlantika Collective’s current exhibition at Mason Exhibitions Arlington, Katie Kehoe will be presenting a performance artwork, 200 Trees: A Performance Action, as a companion piece to a video installation she is presenting in the gallery.
The performance at Mason Exhibitions will be followed by a socially engaged action of tree planting on the Fairfax campus. Participants will help restore native plant species in Virginia and increase green landscaping at GMU. This effort is sponsored by the Office of Sustainability.
Paid visitor parking is available at the Rappahannock Parking Deck, and the meeting location for the tree planting is on the lawn to the right of the parking deck, along Patriot Circle.
